Relationship betweeen Product Options and Product Selection OptionsYour store sells widgets and all of your widgets come in 2 sizes; Small and Large Since all of the widgets have 2 sizes you can set up 2 Product Options. One for Small and one for Large. The relationship between your widgets and the Product Options looks like this: Product - Widget A Product Options - Small Large Product - Widget B Product Options - Small Large In this simple example you can see that only having 2 Product Options is all that is required. But what happens if your widgets are available in both Small and Large sizes AND threaded or not threaded? This is where Product Selection Options can help. If you defined 2 Product Selection Options, we'll name them threads and nothreads, you may associate those Product Selection Options with the 2 Product Options that are already defined (Small and Large). This will let your customer select Small or Large for your Widgets then further refine their choice by selecting Threaded or Non-Threaded for their Small or Large widget. The relationship between Products, Product Options and Product Selection Options looks like this: Product - Widget A Product Options - Small Large Product Selection Options - Threaded Non-Threaded Product - Widget B Product Options - Small Large Product Selection Options - Threaded Non-Threaded CategoryProducts |
