ClickCartPro - Dropshipping Support
ClickCartPro is one of the most advanced shopping cart / ecommerce software programs available on the market when it comes to dropshipping support. The dropshipping software features included in ClickCartPro is unparalleled.
Dropshipping in ClickCartPro is handled on the product level. This means that for each individual product you can specify a different dropshipper. To enable dropshipping for a product, access the management interface and go to:
Home > ClickCartPro > Catalog: Categories, Products and Options > Manage Online Store Products
Choose to add or update a product. Notice the fields:
Enter the appropriate information for your dropshipper in these fields. The first three are important if you are using realtime shipping or a custom shipping script that depends on origin. The fourth is a dropshipper email address - or a comma delimited list of email addresses for dropshippers.
When customers choose to checkout, shipping prices are quoted separately for items (1) shipping from different origins, (2) going to different destinations and/or (3) shipping using different methods. This means that items shipping from different locations will be grouped together based on their origin and shipping quotes are calculated correctly. When orders are processed, for any items that have a dropshipper email address specified, that dropshipper will receive a single order confirmation email that contains all items they are to ship (they don't see items for other dropshippers), the shipping information for the customer (not their billing information) and the delivery method the custom chose.
Dropshipping in ClickCartPro is extremely flexible due to the fact that it is handled on a per-product basis. It is extremely powerful due to the use of combined order emails and it's ability to group items based on origin, destination and available shipping methods during checkout.
