A new annoying error

A new annoying error

Postby Newalan » 11 Aug 2011 16:21

For months I have had to put up with no callbacks generated and the only notification I get is WorldPay or PayPal payment being processed.

I then have to go and look ath order and manually retriev the order. That is now also playing up when I try to access the order in order to print I get the following error "An error was encountered while attempting to retrieve order information. It is possible the data requested does not exist or you do not have access to the order requested using your current account."

Very very fraustrating and annoying this has been ever since I started using this new software.

Hi Alan,
We did spend a lot of time and effort trying to fix your problem with the callback and I recall the problem was down to your server email confirmation.
You could enable the debug mode and this should shed some light on the problem. Either post the debug on the forum or email me that.

I will set up the debug mode and see what happens, failing that the only option I have is to migrate to EuropaCart.

Tried to locate and set up the debug. Is this achieved from the admin interface or do I have to go to a specific file and add a code?

If so which file and what code? Where will I find the results once the information is collected.

The forum will not allow me to paste the whole content as there are too many characters. I did find (I hope relevant lines regarding errors from the txt files) pasted below:

KHXC_Error::error: Non-fatal error encountered: include_once(skinfunc.php) [<a href='function.include-once'>function.include-once</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory File: /skins/zipskin_xcs027/includes/menuright.php Line: 5

KHXC_Error::error: Non-fatal error encountered: include_once() [<a href='function.include'>function.include</a>]: Failed opening 'skinfunc.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/home/abceu/public_html/xcs-private/pear') File: /skins/zipskin_xcs027/includes/menuright.php Line: 5

Alan,

I would like to make sure that the problem does not arise from the skin - can you send me a copy of the menuright.php file that your error message refers to?

On the version I have of that file, the syntax appears to be correct, and from the error message, I am not entirely sure which file is 'missing'.

Thanks Alan.

As per my email, your file is identical to the supplied version, so I don't think that will be the source of the problem.
