Help Documents & Test Payment Details

Help Documents & Test Payment Details

Postby Neil_D » 04 Jul 2011 14:58

Hi guys,

Trying to find a help guide for setting up the payment gateways (will be using Sage) and I remember from past uses of CCP that there was a test payment account which you used to be able to use to test the gateway was working etc...

Just wondering if this is still around, and if you could point me towards the necessary documentation to help me set up Sage as my payment gateway.

Cheers!

How do I go about putting through test purchases, I have set up the gateway (Sagepay) and it takes me to the TEST page where you enter your credit card details, if I put in my personal card details will it charge me or will it ignore the payment but still operate as if it was live?

Hi Neil,
Sagepay should be able to provide you with test card numbers, see this page.

With going live, do I still need to follow the same steps as listed for Protx but for Sagepay?

Including doing 3 transactions, refund 1. Then emailing protx? Surely they wont be getting these emails any more?

Edit: Never mind, changing test. to live. seem'd to do the trick!
