Pay Pal Integration

Pay Pal Integration

Postby davidgab » 16 Mar 2010 14:15

Hi we have been working on the site at the moment only paypal is set up as the payment method, payment appears to go through, however no confirmation emails are received ( i am assuming because it doesnt go back to the site via the relay function) and if cancelled is clicked prior to completeing the order this also fails to go back, both with internal server errors

I am assuming this is because the code is generating the following

<p class="hidden"><input type="hidden" name="notify_url" id="PAYMENT--notify_url" value="" /></p>

<p class="hidden"><input type="hidden" name="cmd" id="PAYMENT--cmd" value="_ext-enter" /></p>

<p class="hidden"><input type="hidden" name="amount" id="PAYMENT--amount" value="7.25" /></p>

<p class="hidden"><input type="hidden" name="redirect_cmd" id="PAYMENT--redirect_cmd" value="_xclick" /></p>

<p class="hidden"><input type="hidden" name="return" id="PAYMENT--return" value="" /></p>

<p class="hidden"><input type="hidden" name="cancel_return" id="PAYMENT--cancel_return" value=";item_number=ORD2010031620" /></p>

The return paths are all coming up as , i am assuming i need to remove this and just set it to go to and not via the web fusion secure pages, where can i adjust this in the code please ?

I also have a second site that also has integration problems, however this is done via secpay/paypoint similar to the above in that i need to or think i need to add the following hidden field to enable the end user to canel payment and return back to the website

<input type="hidden" name="backcallback" value=""> which allows the cancel payment to work on the paypoint website, again where would i enter this into the code ?

The problem is the wrong permission on the {public directory}/relay and the contents. First try permission level 777 and if you still have a problem try permission level 755
